You should know these before ordering.


▪ Catalog Errors
This Catalog has been reviewed to present all information and prices as accurately as possible. Should an error be found in description or price, we reserve the right to correct it. PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME.

▪ Cancellation
Cancellations WILL NOT be permitted without written authorization from R.J. Woodworking, Inc. A restocking or refinishing charge may be required. Rush orders or custom items are subject to an added charge.

▪ Care and Maintenance
Periodic Maintenance is necessary to insure long-term durability. Warranty may be voided if proper maintenance is not performed.

Metal: Remove dirt and fingerprints with a non-abrasive glass cleaner and/or a damp cloth. For textured surfaces, use a soft bristled brush to remove loose dirt.

Laminate: Surfaces may be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild non-abrasive soap or household ammoniated liquid detergent.

Wood: Surfaces may be cleaned with a damp cloth and/or any water emulsion type polish by moving the cloth with the grain.

▪ Design Changes
R.J. Woodworking, Inc. reserves the right to make changes in design and construction or discontinue products without notification.

▪ Prototypes, Drawings, tooling, and fixtures - (1) All drawings made by R.J. Woodworking are the exclusive property of said company. (2) All prototypes or samples sent from us on memo billing are billable to the customer.

▪ Photography of completed projects
- R.J. Woodworking reserves the right to photograph, upon completion, any project that has utilized our product offerings, and retains the rights to use said photographs in advertising, our website, public relations, catalogs, and all marketing materials.

▪ Delivery
A tentative delivery schedule will be established in acknowledging orders, based on customer's request and by our estimated ability to deliver. While R.J. Woodworking, Inc. will do everything possible to meet your delivery needs, we cannot accept responsibility for late charges, penalty clauses, or special shipping charges incurred by failure to deliver on schedule. Check your acknowledgement for expected delivery date, it may be different from your requested ship date. We will make every attempt to ship orders complete, however, we reserve the right to make partial shipments as merchandise is available.

▪ Freight Charges
All shipments are F.O.B. shipping point and are the responsibility of the purchaser. All shipments will be sent freight collect unless other prior arrangements have been made. Prepaid freight shipments are available only to customers with an open credit line. On shipments sent direct to your customers, we will specify on the bill of lading that the freight bills will be sent directly to you for payment. On prepaid freight, a service fee of 10% of the total freight charge will be added to the freight bill to cover handling.

▪ Limitation of Liability
R.J. Woodworking, Inc. shall not be responsible, obligated, or liable for any injury or damage resulting from any application or use of its products and services, either singly or in combination with other products and services. Except as stated below regarding patents, R.J. Woodworking, Inc.'s sole liability for breach of warranty or any other claim shall be limited to repair or replacement or return of the purchase price, at R.J. Woodworking, Inc.'s sole option. R.J. Woodworking, Inc shall not be liable for damages, including but not limited to consequential or special damages, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the products and services or arising out of acceptance of this order.

▪ Minimum Order
For orders less than $500 list, a service charge of $110 list will be added.

▪ Materials
Laminates: Standard solid colors and wood grains in a choice of Formica, Nevamar, Wilsonart, and Poinite. Specialty laminates are available. Contact factory for pricing. Please specify brand and number. High gloss laminates are not considered standard (25% upcharge).

Marmoleum: Alternative to high-pressure laminate. Resilient Linoleum product, durable with hygenic properties, biodegradable and environmentally friendly.

Wood Veneers: Oak, Walnut, Cherry, Maple, and Mahogany veneers. Other species are available. Contact factory for pricing. Please specify.

Wood Edges: Solid Red Oak, Walnut, Cherry, Maple, and Mahogany. Other woods are available. Contact factory for pricing. Please specify.

Wood Edge Finish: Natural and three standard stains (light, medium, dark). Please specify. Catalyzed lacquer finish. Other stains or special customer match are available at an additional charge of $225.00 list per order. Standard sheen 25 to 35.

Special Finish: We will match customer finish on wood edges and veneer surfaces at an additional charge of $225 list per order.

▪ Ordering
All orders received by R.J. Woodworking, Inc. are subject to approval by our credit department. For accounts not approved for excellent credit, a 50% deposit is required to process orders, with the balance to be C.I.A. before completed goods are shipped C.O.D. Please forward credit information and trade references at placement of orders.

R.J. Woodworking, Inc. requires all orders in writing to avoid error and/or duplication. Duplicate orders received and not properly marked confirmation are the responsibility of the customer. Orders will be acknowledged stating current pricing, any special charges for matching colors, minimum order charges, etc. and expected shipping date. Please be sure when ordering that all necessary information regarding finish, laminate number, type of wood or veneer, and sizes are included on your purchase order. Any omission of information ay result in a delay in entering your order.

▪ Returns
Returns WILL NOT be accepted without prior written authorization by R.J. Woodworking, Inc.

▪ Storage
If a customer requests postponement of delivery when R.J. Woodworking, Inc. is ready to make shipment, R.J. Woodworking, Inc. reserves the right to transfer the furniture to storage at the customer's risk and expense. Such transfer to storage will be deemed delivery to the customer for all purposes including invoicing and payment.

▪ Shipping Points
R.J. Woodworking, Inc. reserves the right to ship separately from different shipping points. Therefore, separate freight bills may be incurred.

▪ Transit Damage
R.J. Woodworking, Inc. is not responsible for damage to furniture that occurs in transit or in storage. It is the customer's responsibility to examine furniture upon receipt and note any damage in transit on the carrier's delivery receipt. All claims should be immediately filed by the customer with the carrier. Damage that does not become apparent until furniture is unpacked (concealed damages) should be reported to the carrier in writing within 15 days. All claims against R.J. Woodworking, Inc. for defects, errors, or shortages must be made by the customer in writing within five (5) days after any delivery. Failure by the customer to make any claim against R.J. Woodworking, Inc. within five (5) days shall constitute acceptance of the furniture and a waiver of any defects, errors or shortages.

▪ Terms
Terms are net 15 days. A service charge will be added on accounts which remain unpaid beyond our stated terms. All prices are F.O.B. factories and R.J. Woodworking reserves the right to ship separately from different shipping points.

▪ Warranty
R.J. Woodworking, Inc. warrants its materials and labor to be free from defects in material and workmanship, ordinary use, wear and tear, or damage from abuse or accident excepted. The extent of Seller's obligation hereunder is to either repair or replace F.O.B, its works, the defective products, if returned within 12 months after date of delivery. Products and parts not manufactured and work not performed directly by R.J. Woodworking, Inc. (including, without limitation, plastic laminate) are warranted only to the extent and in the manner that the same are warranted to R.J. Woodworking, Inc. by R.J. Woodworking Inc.'s vendors and then only to the extent R.J. Woodworking, Inc. is able to enforce such warranty. There is no other warranty express or implied in fact or by law.

All charges for repairs not performed by R.J. Woodworking Inc., and all returns, must have prior written authorization from R.J. Woodworking, Inc.

The foregoing states the sole and exclusive remedy of the buyer and the sole and exclusive warranty of R.J. Woodworking, Inc. The warranties stated in this paragraph are in lieu of all other warranties, written or verbal, statutory, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular use, which are hereby disclaimed.
